Luc Dufour - The mustachioed husband of Edith and proprietor of the Cherbourg Airport restaurant

"Le CouCou de Fourchette" in his new role as the Mayor of Gonneville.

Luc, known to us all as Grumpy Walrus (something to do with the dead mouse residing on his upper lip) has been elected to this highly important job for 6 years (Heavens, he's almost royalty!!!) and we are very proud of him.

You'll note that his mayoral bookcase behind his right shoulder contains only a very few books - I am sure we could find him a few more volumes to make his office look even more sophisticated - A few Blue Peter and Beano annuals would enhance things a lot more - a set of Encyclopedia Britannica's wouldn't go amiss either!.

Mayor Walrus conducted his first marriage on 12 April 2008, so I'm sure he would do us fellow Grumpies a good deal on the marriages if you asked him nicely!
